YES, they carried the same task as a remedial teacher because they indeed a remedial teacher themselves but as Pekeliling only allow one remedial teacher at every school, KPM appoint GPML to critical schools to make sure every school achieved the NKRA target. GPML focused on students who did not master K1 and K2 during their LINUS screening.
